Padel tournament raises £7,800 for Kent Neuro Therapy Centre

Kent Neuro Therapy Centre welcomed businesses and supporters to its first padel tournament, bringing together teams from across the region for a day of sport, connection and fundraising in support of people living with neurological conditions.

The event raised £7,800, helping the charity continue providing specialist therapies and expert support for people living with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis. Funds raised contribute directly to helping members access life-enhancing therapies, maintain independence and improve their quality of life.

Teams competed across three divisions during the tournament, with strong competition throughout the day.

Division 1
Winners – London Padel Coach
Runners up – VWell

Division 2
Winners – BTF Partnership
Runners up – TMS and Kent Neuro

Division 3
Winners – Orbital 3
Runners up – Kent Construction Consultants

Kent Neuro Therapy Centre would like to thank everyone who took part and supported the event, in particular Square One Padel Club for donating the court time and venue. Special thanks go to VWell for sponsoring the goody bags, and to London Padel Coach, Padel and Travel and NinePadel for their support in helping make the tournament possible.

The charity also thanks Alex from VaVaVoom Videos, who generously donated her time to capture the event and help share the story of the day.

As the first padel tournament hosted by the centre, feedback from participants will help shape future events as the charity looks to grow this new addition to its fundraising calendar.

Alongside the padel tournament, Kent Neuro Therapy Centre is continuing to develop a programme of events to bring people together while raising vital funds. Upcoming opportunities to get involved include the Sporting Events UK : Canterbury Trail Marathon & Half Marathon, as well as the Charity Golf Day and bat and trap tournament.
