Lord Mayor of Canterbury chooses Kent Neuro Therapy Centre as Charity of the Year
We are delighted to announce that Kent Neuro Therapy Centre has been chosen as the Lord Mayor of Canterbury’s Charity of the Year for this civic year.
To mark the beginning of this partnership, we were pleased to welcome the Lord Mayor Cllr Alister Brady and Lady Mayoress Dr Magali-Fleur Barnoux to the Centre for a tour of our facilities. During their visit, they met members, spoke with our therapists, staff and volunteers, and saw a range of specialist therapies and exercise sessions in action.
The visit provided an opportunity to showcase the expert care and specialist therapies we provide for people living with neurological and long-term conditions, including stroke, Parkinson’s and multiple sclerosis (MS). Hearing directly from our members about the difference the Centre has made to their lives highlighted the impact that ongoing therapy and support can have on maintaining independence, improving wellbeing and achieving personal goals.
We are incredibly grateful to the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress for choosing to support our charity and are looking forward to working together throughout the year. Their support will help raise awareness of the Centre and the vital funds needed to ensure more people across Kent can continue to access life-improving therapies and support.
If you would like to support the Lord Mayor’s fundraising efforts, you can make a donation via his fundraising page:
We look forward to sharing updates on events and fundraising activities throughout the year.
