Christmas wreath-making workshop at Tower House
Step into Christmas with a festive wreath-making workshop in the exclusive surroundings of Tower House, nestled within Canterbury’s beautiful Westgate Gardens. As the Lord Mayor of Canterbury’s chosen charity of the year, we have access to Tower House which is a unique venue not usually open for public access.
Rich in history and character, Tower House incorporates part of Canterbury’s medieval city wall, with buildings having occupied the site since at least the 1400s. Its charming rooms and original features provide a truly distinctive setting in which to create your own Christmas wreath.
During the workshop, you will make a natural willow wreath base before decorating it to create your own festive wreath. All materials and equipment will be provided, although you are welcome to bring your own secateurs if you prefer.
Your ticket also includes a welcome drink. Choose from prosecco, a non-alcoholic alternative, tea or coffee.
There are just 12 places available in each session, so book now to avoid disappointment.
This charity event supports Kent Neuro Therapy Centre, helping us provide expert care and specialist therapies for people living with MS, Parkinson’s and stroke.
Session times
- Morning session: 11.30am–1pm, with doors open from 11am
- Afternoon session: 2.30pm–4pm, with doors open from 2pm
Accessibility and support
Tower House is wheelchair accessible and parking is available at the venue.
Please be aware that making and decorating the wreath requires some strength and dexterity in the hands. If you would find this difficult, you are very welcome to bring a carer or support person free of charge to help make the wreath with you. Please let us know when booking if someone will be accompanying you.
